Perfect large upright freezer

This was a replacement freezer for my garage. It's more than twice the size of my previous freezer. I didn't realize how small my original freezer was until I purchased this one. Now I don't have to limit my options when I need to stock up on goods for upcoming holidays. It's super quiet and fits all the way up against the wall. My old one had the condenser coils exposed on the back.

I™€™ve had this freezer for 1 month. It seems well made and holds the temp cold and steady. I like the gray/carbon color but wish black would have been available. I like the brightness inside . Overall, happy with the purchase. I hope it will last me a long time.

Broken metal wire on freezer basket. Need to get the basket replaced because it will catch on items and also rust. Hopefully Frigidaire will take care of this issue with the warranty as the basket was broken when they packaged and shipped it.I do have some concern with the shelves, Just be very careful when you move them. Other than that, the freezer has lots of room and looks really good. Relatively easy to set up. Will update this review with the warranty results.

The outer finish is professional and clean while the interior glass shelves hold plenty of frozen foods...plenty of room for those boxes of crab legs and wide enough for beef tenderloins. Want to stash frozen pizzas? This freezer will accommodate. We are pleased with this purchase.

I've only had the freezer for a week so I'll be brief. Plugged unit in and waited approximately 8 hours for it to reach zero, ( I placed a freezer thermometer inside the box). Moved all contents of old unit into new unit and everything remained frozen without any issues. New unit runs quietly and has enough room for our needs. Two things I would change:1. Make the door shelves adjustable which would allow for one more shelf to be included.2. Since we only have 4 glass shelves which are all adjustable, there is room for a half basket that could be placed on the lower shelf bracket just above the large basket on the floor. This could be used to store any very light items such as bread or rolls.Otherwise, this unit is very nice.

Had to finally replace my mom™€™s 1999 upright freezer. I got tired of chipping ice off the bottom every 3 months! Our local Spencer™€™s had a sale and this was the perfect fit! It™€™s a bit bigger (20 cu ft vs 15) and a bit taller but I still buy in bulk when prices are good for the 2 of us as well as I can quite a bit. I love I can now see my packages of frozen veggies and I have a shelf for everything (beef, chicken, pork, fish). I also love I can set the freezer temp without having to open the door. Overall, a good buy for us!

The size of the freezer is perfect for our half sides of beef and pig. The adjustable shelves and outside temperature and left red out are very convenient. This freezer replaced a 20 year old freezer that had no amenities. The only complaint is with the wire basket that came with it. It is intended to sit on the bottom shelf. But it is just a bit too wide so that the door will not automatically close. You have to push it closed. Doing so causes the wire basket to make indentations on the door itself. I called Home Depot about it as I thought I had the wrong basket. But the new one is identical. So I do not use the basket. I use plastic tubs instead.

I really like this freezer. However a problem for us is that there is no lock on the door. Very disappointed about that. It is the way we made sure that the door was closed. I wouldn™€™t have bought this unit had I known that. Never had a freezer that didn™€™t have one.

My last freezer was a GE model, also a garage ready upright... It lasted 1 year!!! I discovered it was malfunctioning and was about to lose approx $12-$1500 of food... I immediately started the search for a replacement, and after looking at numerous makes and models (None were GE's), settled on this Frigidaire... My decision was based on the very useful interior layout, the glass shelves, placement of the interior light, and overall apparent durability of a well built unit... After getting it home, and transferring all of the old freezer's contents, I was happy to see how quickly it achieved a recommended temperature, saving all of the food I had feared lost... The biggest lesson here for me, was the realization/remembrance that I had previously owned a Frigidaire freezer years ago that had served me very well, but had somehow "strayed" to other brands over the years to "save "purchase costs", but come to my senses and returned to a product of durability, reliability, and functionality! We are very happy with our decision to purchase a Frigidaire and look forward to many years of "dependable freezing"...
