The electrical system does not work. From the first day, the control panel with the timer and oven light was faulty. I had the part replaced twice under the manufacturer's warranty, but it never functioned properly. It is an inferior electronics panel made in Afghanistan. Now the electric broiler does not work either. The appliance is an overpriced piece of junk made in China.

I am on my ninth visit from a Haier technician for the thermostat not working correctly. Today tech stated It™€™s a faulty thermostat, scheduled another appointment to put in a fifth thermostat. This is a ridiculous waste of my time and techs to say nothing about cost efficiency for the company and myself. I have asked repeatedly for a new stove, only to be told I would be responsible for half the cost, since the stove is now out of warranty. The problem started well within the warranty period and has never been resolved! Don™€™t buy this stove, save yourself time and frustration

A Dream Come True

I'd been on a 3-year odyssey trying to find a stove to fit into my tiny kitchen. I needed an 18' to 24' unit and lucked out to find the bigger model while I was out shopping for something else. I had no idea what a difference it would make, but it has. I absolutely love this stove. Everything seems to be very high quality, except the bottom drawer which is bit lighter weight than the rest of the stove. Everything else is top notch. The flames are consistent and even on the stovetop and oven. The stovetop grates are hefty metal (feels like cast iron), flat, and designed in such a way to keep puts stable while I'm cooking. The control knobs are easy to read and operate. Stainless steel is notorious for fingerprints. While I haven't found this to be an issue, I do find that there a few smudges and streaks that I can't quite get rid of. Even so, every time I walk into the kitchen and see my stove, I smile. Unfortunately, I was unaware of the fact that the convection feature is beyond the capacity of my electrical service, so I'm unable to evaluate that part yet.

Disappointed in Oven Functioning

There isn™€™t an oven controller that shows off. The light for preheating comes in when there isn™€™t temp set for it to come on. The broiler is electric instead of gas and dies not cook evenly. Disappointed in the product given the extremely high price.

Design flaw maybe, I do like the stove

I think the door switch spring is to strong as my door wouldn't close snugly against the door gasket. This allowed heat to inefficiently run up and out the front, melting the knob paint, making the knobs slip, overheating clock panel, and heat-scorching some cabinet front sides. Big feeling in a smaller range

We are enjoying our new range very much. We love the convection oven, and the way it heats evenly. The cast iron burners are also a plus. The controls are very easy to read and have a sturdy positive feel. Even though we needed a small size range,(24") The quality and finnish makes this a welcome compliment to our home.

Oven won't last

Bought this range in 2020 and by the 3rd year we started noticing some issues. The oven door is flimsy and poorly made and allows for excessive heat to escape from the top and sides of door. This resulting in damage to the control knobs (I see another reviewer below had the same issue) and also damage to the kitchen cabinet next to the left side of the oven door. This is a huge design flaw. Next issue was with the oven ignition. Hot surface ignitor comes on but over burner will not light until one of the top burners are turned on. This required us to have a top burner on whenever we use the oven. I would not recommend this oven at all. It will not last.

Haier 24" Range-Best Design, Efficient, Practical.

This Haier range is the only exceptional 24-inch range. Best design, durable, efficient, functional, practical and cute. The stainless steel top provides a bright and inviting appearance, easy to clean and reflects heat upward toward the cookware. There are 4-natural gas burners, two medium burners on the left side and a small and large burner on the right side. All the control knobs for the cook top and oven are located on the front panel (ADA compliant--no extended reach over the stove for adjustments). The 4-knobs for the cook top burners are on the right half of the control panel and the 2-knobs for the oven and display-clock are on the left half of the control panel. The oven is Electric (not gas). The oven has a light, a fan and a circular recessed bottom panel where water can be added for the self-clean function. The oven is not used. The oven door has an ergonomic and practical door handle where you can slide your hand or towel across the door handle to either end without binding or pinching your fingers at the ends where the handle is attached to the oven door. Since delivery of the Haier range, the "Oven Cycle" orange light (between the Oven Temp and Oven Mode knobs on the left half of the control panel) is continuously lit and the oven is not being used. If any oven knob is adjusted and turned off, the "Oven Cycle" orange light will not be illuminated, but after a few hours to about 3-days later, the "Oven Cycle" orange light will remain illuminated. The GE service technician noted that this is a defect in the control board behind all the control knobs that will be replaced.

The control board died after 5 years which is expensive to replace,so right before Xmas we have no oven except for the top burners.I maybe get a few bucks for it for parts and sell the stainless steel at the scrape yard .Disposal lifestyle we have created,shame.

DECENT STOVE WITH ONE BIG DESIGN FLAW

Decent little stove, which functions well in most respects. HOWEVER, there is a major design flaw: the oven door allows for a fair amount of heat escape, and over time the heat will start to damage the six control knobs on the front of the stove. As seen in the attached photos, repeated exposure to the heat from our oven caused the foil wrapping on all six control knobs to bubble and peel off. Because the dial markings are now mostly missing, it is impossible to know exactly what setting the oven and elements are set to. This poses serious safety and functional problems. The oven works well otherwise, so it is surprising and disappointing that the knobs have been rendered unusable after only three years of use. I escalated this concern with GE™€™s customer service department, but they were unwilling to do anything about it (e.g., send us replacement control knobs) because the warranty had expired. They advised purchasing new knobs from a third party, who was asking $300 for six pieces of plastic! GE™€™s engineering team needs to fix this.

I love this range. It looks good, easy to clean and cooks well. the only negative thing is the feet in the front are not rubber/padded and when they moved it in and out to connect the gas, it scratched my new vinyl plank floors. Yes, they should have been more careful. But, I also wanted to share that maybe something you can look at changing in the future.

Oven doesn't heat properly. Got an oven thermometer and the heat just goes down the hotter you try to get it the cooler it gets. 1 1/2 hours to barely bake a small eggplant.

It was installed yesterday. Very nice looking unit. Unfortunately, one of the burners refuses to light. It clicks, and you can light it manually with a match, but not with the knob. Kinda disappointed.

Great range/oven. Seems to be good quality and well built. Has some very nice features. The only thing I wish it had was a digital read out for the actual oven temperature. And if anyone reading this is wondering if it will work in a rv situation, I can tell you it does. The included propane conversion kit is pretty straight forward.

Initially bought this stove 7 months ago and has a continuous series of problems requiring multiple visits by repairmen. They eventually declared it unrepairable and GE replaced it recently under warranty. So far this one is working well.

This is a great looking small gas range. The burners work well although I am not crazy about the set up (simmer burner in the back). Unfortunately, the oven will not come up to temperature. We have adjusted it according the to owner's manual, but it still will not go above 400 degrees even though the dial goes to 450. I have called service but they can't come for three weeks. I spent a lot of money on an appliance that doesn't work the way it should.

I can™€™t believe the difference in the quality of my cooking since switching from an electric stove to the propane. And I had a high quality GE electric stove. But this propane stove is unbelievable. It sears meat to perfection on the stovetop and bakes things to a perfect golden brown in the oven. Looks good, but poorly made

Well where do I start. Got the first one December 14, 2021 from Home Depot on line. Had it for 2 days before I even got to install it and it was missing screws inside. Called Home Depot and they said I had to deal with Haier because I had it more than 48hours. Well I did call Haier and a tech came out and looked at the stove. Said it was too badly assembled and so another one was delivered a month later (no thanks to Home Depot). Second one came and it was not quite as badly assembled as the first one, but there were still missing screws, stripped screws and it was generally poorly assembled. But I kept it. So now the oven on indicator light comes on at random times of the day, no oven on, just the light. The broiler switch is so finicky that it is near impossible to use the broiler, and the electronic clock timer is so inaccurate the clock gains a few minutes every day. So for the 3rd time I am getting it repaired, new control new oven thermostat dial, and selector switch. I would never buy this again, it is poorly made, poor design and crappy assembly. I doubt that it will last 5 years.

This incredible gas range is powerful and sleek! We recently upgraded our small kitchen - and space is a premium when one is living in a city. This 24" gas range fits beautifully in our space; it also easy to clean because of its sleek design. The gas out put is strong - so a little goes a long way. The oven is wonderful also - although it runs a tad 'cool' so I had to factor that in when baking.

I love my new range. But it has one flaw, the cook timer does not have an alarm or buzzer when it counts down to zero, just a little bell that Lites up and blinks so you have to stay at the stove and watch it count down

We like the range and it is very powerful! It melted the rubber grip on our teapot so be careful LOL Overall it seems well-made and nice looking. We like the 24 inch size because it suits our kitchen better and it is still very functional. We like the convection oven where it will circulate the airflow. One strange issue is that the heat indicator light comes on when the oven is not in use and the oven is not hot, yet the light turns on to signal that the oven is heating up. It only happened a few times but we didn't figure out the cause yet. Overall it seems like a good range!

It™€™s way too easy to scratch the top of the stove with the grates. There needs to be something on the legs of the grate to prevent scratching. The top of the stove was scratched before I even had a chance to cook on it.
