Bread Proof Function

provides consistent low heat to help activate the yeast in dough while it proofs, promoting rise and infusing flavor. For best results, set the Humidity Slide Control to Moist while proofing.

Custom-Control Technology

takes the guesswork out of choosing heat settings for three warming drawer functions: Food Warming, Slow Cook and Bread Proof. Use the control knob to quickly and easily select from defined temperature ranges for each function.

Humidity Slide Control

adjusts moisture levels in the drawer to help retain the flavor and texture of different foods. The Dry Setting lets steam escape, great for baked goods and fried foods. The Moist Setting seals in moisture, great for egg dishes, roasts and vegetables.

Sensor Temperature Control

maintains steady low temperatures while slow cooking, warming and proofing. It uses a thermostat to monitor the heat inside the warming drawer and automatically adjusts as needed to prevent overheating.

Slow Cook Function

can be used in place of a countertop slow cooker, eliminating the need for a separate appliance and saving counter space. It cooks food slowly at a low temperature, great for braising meats and vegetables or building flavor in stews and curries.

Two-Position Racks

can be placed front-to-back or side-to-side to accommodate cookware in a variety of shapes and sizes. Warming drawer includes two racks.

Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

KITCHEN AID WARMING DRAWERS

Warming drawer review 9/1/2026

Purchased 2 warming drawers to replace old original ones ( not KA) circa 1993. The difference was night and day with the new sleek and better controlled temperatures plus a larger capacity. Very pleased with the appliances and the install. Highly recommend.

terrible

s@dog 7/15/2022

I bought this item and it did not come with the rails for me to use the pans that fit inside. Further when i called the service department they stated they no longer carry the rails or pans and i have to go through a third party. This third party sent out the wrong rails (to long) and then charged me for returning the items Terrible customer service and item. I would not buy this again nor would i suggest it to anyone.

I love it's dual purpose!

CookOBX 11/10/2021

I have this Slow Cook Warming Drawer in my current kitchen and love it so much I have installed the same model in the new home I am building. Great as a warming drawer to keep dishes at the ready, but the best feature is the slow cook. I use any casserole dish and the slow cook feature to cook foods like a crockpot! Love it!

Arrived DOA - customer service extremely poor

mgill 11/3/2017

Drawer arrived exactly two weeks prior to the writing of this review, was installed last week. Never worked. Light is very dim, never gets warm. Call to Whirlpool customer service today was a nearly 90 min hold time and then a refusal to send a new one or allow a return. Now having to take time off work to wait for a local repair outfit to diagnose. An appliance at this price point should work from the beginning and if it doesn't the company should stand behind its product. This warming drawer was part of a $10k purchase of KitchenAid appliances - lets hope the others don't go down like this one.

This is the one appliance that can free you from worry. Once a meal, or component of a meal, is ready just put it in the drawer and finish putting the rest of your meal together.

Looks wonderful in my kitchen

5/31/2016

I think this warming drawer works well after you prepare your food and need to keep it warm. I like to reheat things in an oven - not a microwave. I find this not to work very well as it takes forever for my food to warm up. I think this will work well for warming plates.

Love my KitchenAid warming drawer!

5/1/2016

I've always wanted to buy a warming drawer. So when my Thermidor double oven decided to go to sleep forever I looked at KitchenAid to see what I could replace it with. Needing appliances to accommodate a 24 inch space was truly the obstacle. Last week in our family Seder My newly installed KitchenAid microwave, oven and warming drawer did not disappoint! Works wonderful looks beautiful and didn't break the bank to get it. Quality and a bang for my buck . Can't get a better combination than all of that! Oh and did I say how impressed my guests were?
